Dr. Nancy Fu completed Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2014 and Master of Health Sciences (Clin. Epi.) in 2015.  After undergraduate study in pharmaceutical sciences, she entered medicine and finished GI fellowship in 2013 at the University of British Columbia.  Dr. Fu continues to advocate for IBD patients through clinical practice and research.  Her specific interests are IBD adolescent transition, and infections in IBD patients.

Dr. Fu’s research interests include IBD adolescent transition (strategies, resources and outcomes), infections in IBD patients (detection, complications and prevention), and program implementation and utilization.

Dr. Fu is involved in clinical training of UBC IBD and GI fellows.  She lectures and participates in curriculum planning for UBC undergraduate Medicine.
