Focus: Fundamental/clinical-pathological studies on intestinal adaptation and carcinogenesis, emerging aspects of celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, early colon cancer and discovery of “new” diseases: collagenous colitis (1976), collagenous gastritis (1979).

 

Publications: 438 peer-review papers in national and international journals, including book chapters.

 

Grants: peer-review operating and equipment research grants over 2 decades: MRC, NCI, CFIC, BC Health Care.
